"Texas Independent Musicians" is a Texas-based organization dedicated to the principles of honor, cooperation, honesty and the serious focus on business as outlined on our index page and our internal bylaws.

We operate in a manner matching the guidelines of Internal Revenue Section 501(c)(3) but we are not an official non-profit organization and contributions are not tax deductible. All fees charged are to cover the costs of the organization and any monies exchanged are only used to fund the projects of the organization.

Current funding (both monetarily and in-kind) for the organization is the responsibility of the founders and others involved. Current monetary and time contributions are the responsibilty of the organization itself.

Originally involved (founding) bands are 3 Kisses, Dinkum, and Playin' Syx, and they constitute the Advisory Board for the organization along with The Nematoads and 85 Decibels.

The direct management of Texas Independent Musicians does not have any practicing musicians as members, and the structure does not include those currently involved in performing music on a regular basis.
